Poha is a very popular recipe for breakfast. It take very less time to cook . It is very good fr health as it takes low oil to cook.
Ingredients for poha:
- Poha or Chiwda 200 gm.
- Peanuts 1/2 cup (Roasted )
- Potato 1
- Green Chili 2
- Mustard Seeds 1 tea spoon
- Onion 1 (For Granish )
- Turmeric 1/2 tea spoon
- Red chili powder
- Salt (as per taste)
- Oil 2 tbsp
Method to cook Poha:
- Take poha in bowl ,wash it and straing water quickly Now leave it for 10 minutes.
- Peel potatoes ,cut into thin slices and wash them.
- Finely chop green chilies .
- Take a pan and heat oil into it.
- Crack mustard seeds int hot oil . Add green chilies into pan.
- Now add potatoes into pan and roast it.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder to potatoes and mix well.
- Now add poha to the potatoes and mix well. When poha completely mixed with potatoes. Put a lid on pan and leave for 2 minutes on slow flame.
- Now add peanuts to poha, mix wel and serve in a bowl or plate. Garnish with finely chopped onion.
